In both states I never had a problem reaching a real person when I had a question or need for the real estate commission. Like Braxton experienced, I have called trec again and again, day in and day out over many varied hours and have always gotten the same response...a busy signal. Finally, out of necessity, I had to drive 25 miles to the trec office to arrange for a name correction. More recently, out of frustration and with questions about trec rules concerning bulk mail, I have tried e-mailing the office at information@trec.texas.com and three days later I am still awaiting a response. I even tried e-mailing and calling the current chairwoman of trec and she has not responded to either mail or phone messages. Is anyone out there???? Are budget contraints so great that trec can't afford to provide any kind of mail or phone communication services to it's agents? Must we always drive to the downtown office??.
