One of my client’s home was shown on KVUE last night. I represented him when buying the house. Patrick Easter, who you will see in the clip is the developer who built my client’s home and is placing another one next to it.
The story covers manufactured homes and the benefits they can provide. One of the biggest misconceptions about manufactured homes is that they are all mobile homes and cheap. This is simply not true. Homes manufactured in a warehouse can be more efficient, built faster, and built better than many other homes since they are constructed in a controlled environment. Many people are realizing this and that is why manufactured homes are growing in popularity. Watch the story for more info.
I agree and you can’t tell the difference by looking at them at all. Sadly, they don’t hold their value in our market. I think this will start turning around though as people become more educated about them.
If they are on a foundation they should at least compete with stick built homes.
That is great news, my company has been on the news a few times. It is always good to see that
I have always thought that a well built manufactured home could be a better move than a stick built home. However, it holds true that most of these properties do not hold their value even when placed on a foundation on their own lot. We note that the land still appreciates but because of the publics poor perception of manufactured homes the unit itself declines in value.
I agree with james. I personaly hate to even show moble homes

This is true, and unfortunately the misconception crosses American borders. I think as people are exposed to manufactured homes of higher quality, public opinion will soon catch up with the reality. Public beliefs always take time to adjust.
