Once again, Austin finds itself atop another top ten list.  This time it is Yahoo Real Estate’s 10 Best Cities for the Next Decade.  Austin grabbed the top spot based on it being a city of ideas and also its great opportunities for small businesses.  Along with it’s fun atmosphere and growth potential, Austin edged out Seattle.

Sounds like Austin is pretty leading edge! Kudos for Austin! That’s got to help sales.
Very helpful and informative too..
Nice job! These Top 10 Style lists do help bump Real Estate transactions. When Hilton Head Island shows up on one of these we’ll get calls /emails that start out “I read about Hilton Head in such and such magazine.”
Happy reading and list. Found that none of the cities on the 10 best list are located in the 4 largest foreclosure states. They would have needed all the support they can get, to come out of their difficult situation.
Thanks for sharing this list. This is really very much informative.Great post.
I have only been in Austin for a little over a year now and one of the main reasons i chose to move here was because the economy was so good compared to other places in the US. Keep in mind i came from Las Vegas and we all know how the housing market there took a huge dive. Austin being #1 on this list comes to no surprise!
Real Estate is having a big part on the business world, on real estate, selling is not as easy as eating peanuts, you need to have the guts, proper marketing and being honest on what you are selling but definitely real estate is really a great investment because it gives a lot of opportunity.Brainard Ridge Realty is a full-service real estate brokerage and development company, specializing in Timberframe and Custom Log Homes.
ALL HAIL AUSTIN!!.. I love this city and i don’t think i will ever leave. I grew up on the West Coast and ever since i got to Austin, i’ve never looked back!
I’m a real estate agent considering moving to Austin. I don’t have any connections whatsoever. Do you think that this type of attention will allow me succeed? Combined with hard work of course!
We’re looking to move our business to Boulder. Beautiful place to live.
Interesting list. I’ve been trying to get my wife to let us move to Austin Texas. Maybe after I show her this she’ll have a change of heart.
Interesting list. Fully agree with your points here. All the posts are fully informative and having very good themes. I love to visit your blog again and again its really increase my knowledge. Thanks for the awesome post.
Go Austin! Congrats! Austin is a great town. We here in Vegas are seeing a slow upturn in real estate. Selling real estate was order takers a few years ago. Those that have hung in there and continue to do so will be the winners.
Yes, I agree too. We have seen quite a bit of online mortgage applications for home purchase in Austin. This is probably becuase Austin is a very desirable city to live in.
Houston should be on that list I hope.:-) I know there a a few spots we can improve at be we are coming around and growing more and more. Way to go Austin but be on the look out for your neighbor. 🙂
Way to go Austin. keep up with the great work
I left Texas in the late 70’s for Southern California and Austin was a small sleepy state capitol and a big college town. It’s come so far it’s amazing!
Austin is a particularly strong area for growth. As real estate values go up, some apartment building owners may choose to convert their units to condominiums. This is a growing trend nationwide and so long as Austin continues to grow, we could see more of this.
I’ve been in Austin for about a year and a half and i absolutely love this place. I came from Las Vegas and although vegas has the glitz and glamour, Austin has a sense of character that i’ve never seen.
Pretty cool information. It works for me, nice post and nice website as well. I like the stuff, Thanks.
Congratulations!
It was really interesting to see the diversity of the cities that made it onto that list and why they were chosen.
Thanks for posting.
Thank you for sending this beneficial topic. I think the best way for improving the real estate trade in any other place is to follow the same steps which lead to its prosperity. people always prefer dwelling countries where they can find the best chances of work , education and health caring
Nice sharing really, really some thing informative and descriptive also.
thank you for your post. Nice article
Great post! I didn’t even know Seattle was in contention for #1
Seattle has always been one of my very favorite cities. I’ve never been to Austin, but now I’m definitely going to add it to my destination picks.
Thanks.

Very informative. I think the whole area in and around Austin is one of the nicest places. Stuff like this really does help boost sales as said before. This is something I think a lot of people search for when moving to or planning on moving to a new city.
Thank you for sharing in the list, it was very informative. Good job done. It seems as though Austin is all set to lead the way.

It’s no wonder Austin is topping the list. Business people are heading towards the city and businesses there are sprouting like mushrooms. People these days are getting more into SMEs.
Yeah, Austin is a great city. Hopefully I was gonna move to Austin in a few months with m family 🙂
I can see why Austin is the place so many people want to move to. I talk to people in southern california who tell me they want too or are planning to move there in the next 1-3 years. Sheesh, i should try referring them over to an agent like yourself who knows the market like you do. Hoepfully you have a good lender to refer them to as well.
Even i want to move there, it’s a great city, nice list thanks for sharing .
Thank you so much Austin. Austin your sounds like is pretty leading edge! Nice list and once again thanks for sharing 🙂
