Â Austin grabbed the top spot based on itÂ beingÂ a city of ideas and also its great opportunities for small businesses. Â Along with it’s fun atmosphere and growth potential, Austin edged out Seattle.

Austin has been named one of the top 25 travel destinations by Travel & Leisure Magazine. The list was voted on by travelers. Austin was in the top five for several sub-categories, including:

- public parks
- attractive people
- vintage shopping
- wild weekend
